thank you for this real review! Super helpful. I was interested in this case for the front aesthetic and the fact that the top is a solid panel. I have cats who like to sit on top of my PC so the solid top and dust filtration/positive air pressure are super important features for me. Really not a fan of the see through back side of the case and the quality issues you mentioned. Why would someone by default want to show off their rear cables? Seems like a weird design decision. The Torrent Compact is even worse with no space for rear cables apparently.

I have putted this screen protector on the s23 ultra other than the curve area it actually works better than the s24 ultra, anti reflective screen protector on a reflective display is better, I have tried comparing the 2 with the anti reflective screen protector on the s23 ultra and it's even less reflective than the s24 ultra without any screen protector or anti reflective, they should make an anti reflective screen protector for s25 ultra and bring back the gorilla glass armored with reflective coting, that way we could get the best anti reflective screen with the anti reflective screen protector.

A little simpler approach to the qbittorrent password problem: check logs (workloads pane and then the stickynote looking thing) a random password will be there, use that to log in the first time.

if you nas files are in true nas, could you not mount your media file directly to the vm and avoid sharing over network? is this not possible in true nas scale? I have one main server (with plex and all the rr stuff) that i wanted to use as a gaming pc as well, because of this i installed Windows 11 and instead of using ZFS planning to use Windows Storage Space. What kind of write speeds do you get using tru nas scale?

The problem with a lot of youtube reviews, including Gamers Nexus (at least their old testing methodology) was to test a case with only its included fans. So for what fractal comes with, it works great. There are plenty of other cases that you can buy that have just as good thermals if you buy additional fans, but tested with only the included fans, they lose on the comparison charts.

This worked for me but I have noticed that ever since, I updatated to Truenas 23 my library buffers alot idk if I need to change any other settings. Does anyone else have this problem?

The line is from improper installation. Mine was bad the first time. Re did it and it is gone now. The screen protector is the best in all areas besides scratch resistance. It's scratching very easily. The anti reflection is great for working outside all day. And when I'm wearing sunglasses I can still use my phone

I mean it's nice and all having the apps integrated into the web GUI and showing CPU / RAM / Network and Updates, but man it's a lot of hoops to jump through. I found it easier to just set up a docker sandbox with jailmaker, and then get acess to all the docker tools i'm familar with like Docker Compose, and a bit of dockge and portainer.

So I have a U Model which I flashed successfully to U1 and the latest OS updates (yay!), but even though I picked XAA, the CSC is remaining CHA. Any reason for this? How can I change my CSC to XAA as my carrier isn't even Spectrum (CHA)?

The input you are tapping on is USB PD, so it will have more than 5v, more like 12 to 20v or I'm missing something? Good video, I do the retouch on the soldering myself, it's a good advice.

Holy crap. Straightfoward, accurate info. I've been struggling to get Plex running on my NAS for HOURS. I watched at least four other videos and read countless forum threads. This is the only info that actually helped. Thank you! Now, I just have to repeat those same steps with all the Servarr apps I need. :) EDIT: I just discovered that Jellyfin, unlike Plex, requires its files in the ix-application folder. If you try to direct all the application files to a "jellyfin" folder, it will hang at the "Deploying" phase and refuse to start up.

Hello new to truenas installed the qbittorrent application on truenas scale, but when i try downloading a torrent it instantly goes to ERRORED, need suggestions on whats wrong

Having some issues accessing the pool on my laptop. It’s pretty much read only. I have a second pool for photos that I have had for years and I can do anything I want in that pool. Maybe I will just add my username to the plex pool so I can add movies into that file share. Messed up somewhere but I should be able to figure it out. Also, when you launch the application I have been getting an error. The work around is to add /web at the end of the IP and port address. Example 10.10.1.10:32400/web

The amount of bloatware which comes with T-Mobile Samsung devices is crazy. AppSelector is a bloatware from T-Mobile which installs other bloatware without even asking - shouldn't this be illegal?

I had Plex working on my truenas scale server. worked great. Had a MB failure - now I am on Dragonfish-24.04.1.1 and loaded plex Version: 1.40.3.8555 . I tried to set up from 1st video then go to second video - tried Many times. - tried to follow latest video to install - Many times. not sure if it will set up using either - Any pointers - Thanks
